About the Journal

The Bahria Journal of Law & Social Policy (BJLSP) is dedicated to advancing the understanding of law through diverse interdisciplinary lenses. The journal publishes scholarly research that explores the intersection of law with various social sciences and humanities fields, including but not limited to Religion, Philosophy, Psychology, Anthropology, Environmental Studies, Sociology, Culture, Politics, Economics, and Development. BJLSP aims to foster critical discussions and insights on contemporary legal and social issues, encouraging contributions that blend legal analysis with the methodologies and perspectives of the social sciences. In addition to research articles, the journal welcomes thoughtful book reviews that enhance the discourse in legal studies and related fields.

Law & Social Policy has been officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in the Y Category.

LSP is a publication of the Department of Law, Bahria University, Islamabad. We operate under the kind patronage of the Honourable Rector, Bahria University, Pakistan. Our editorial board is comprised of experienced members, qualified in Law from prominent universities in the United Kingdom. We have a highly qualified, experienced, and vibrant advisory board, whose worthy members come from distinguished universities around the globe. We engage our worthy reviewers, who hold a considerable amount of national and international experience in socio-legal research, to help improve research at Bahria University. We have also been indexed and abstracted by the world-leading online database – HeinOnline. 

 

We are a pool of enthusiastic intellectuals striving to discover and invent new knowledge in the realm of Law and its multifaced intersections with other sciences. We dream of a world out there, which is crime free. We are optimistic, our collective research journey will help us realize this dream true one day.
